Emergency Medicine Physician – Lawton SW Campus 1099

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma

Employment type: 1099 independent contractor. Full-time, part-time and PRN

Compensation: $300 per hour flat (not productivity-based)

About the role

A physician-owned emergency medicine group is hiring emergency physicians for a community ED in Lawton. Mixed to lower acuity, about 20,000 visits a year (about 55 a day), 11 ED beds and a 12% admission rate. No admitting orders or floor codes. Meditech Expanse with AI scribes. Specialty backup is limited, and trauma transfers to the Main campus.

Schedule

• Two 12-hour physician shifts each day
• No call. Weekends and holidays rotate among all staff
• Physicians credentialed at both Lawton campuses may work either or both

Requirements

• ABEM board-certified or board-eligible preferred. Primary care physicians with ER experience are considered for this campus only
• Oklahoma medical license. ACLS and PALS
